We arrived at RV campground at 2:48 on a Monday afternoon. They ladies at the front got us right into our site within 5 min of arriving. They were very accommodating with great attitudes and personalities. We jumped into the cooling pool right away and used the shuttle to the Big Texan Steakhouse. (Awesome amenity especially after driving for 7 hrs.) Wishing for a little more shade, but we are in west Texas. Highly recommend.

Last night we stayed at site 121 B. The staff is A-#1. Staff led us to our very level gravel spot. RV supplies, small gift shop, adult and family liquid refreshments available for purchase. Free coffee and locally baked bagels in the morning, indoor pool, outdoor seating, small playground, jumping pillow, two dog potty yards- one large, one smaller. Clean bathrooms and showers. If you want to eat at their steakhouse, there's free hourly shuttle based at the office to there from 4pm to 8pm and last pick up from the steakhouse is at 9. The shuttle drops you off at your campsite. Larry was our shuttle driver and wonderful to talk to. This is definitely a return-to campground. If you don't have an RV, no worries. There's tiny house style cabins and luxury covered wagons.

The Big Texan RV Ranch is a great place to stay. We did not stay in a cabin so I did not leave stars or a comment on rooms. It is easily accessible from I-20, both in and out with both gravel and concrete pads. It is well located for shopping and eating with free shuttle service to The BigTexan Steak Ranch. The staff are friendly and attentive. They lead you to your RV spot and provide any additional information. Highly Recommended.

We diverted here after wildfires closed Palo Duro State park. Made the reservation via the phone and it very easy. Bonus points for a veteran discount. Check in was easy and they escorted us to the site. We opted for a basic full hookup site on gravel so not expecting any frills. Little off level but easy to adjust for. Some trees but our site had none. More importantly everything worked fine. It was a hot day so we used the nice indoor pool and steam room. We also took the nice free shuttle over to the Big Texan steak house which was nice. This was a great one night stop but it’s a nice parking lot for campers and you can be pretty close to neighbors with no barriers between. We didn’t use any of their facilities but other reviewers say they are good. Seemed like there was good number of long term campers as well. Edit: the road noise from 40 can be pretty loud at night. Not the resorts fault but if you are a light sleeper like we are it can be a factor.

Stayed here on two separate occasions and had a good experience. The shuttle to the restaurant was a very nice touch. Only four stars due to the fact that the lighting was so bright all night. Not only did the park have all their lights on BRIGHT all night, but every single RV did too. Would be nice if propane fire pits were offered as an add-on to the sites.
