I had a great experience with Blackout Tinting on 08 JUL 26. The entire process was easy from start to finish, and the staff was friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. I'm very happy with how the tint turned out, and it's already doing a great job of keeping the heat out of my car. In 2025, I brought my Tesla Model 3 to this shop to get the windshield, roof, and rear window tinted. Before this visit, the rear window had been tinted only halfway by another shop. When I first arrived, the staff member was positive and talkative. They showed me samples and demonstrated their films using a heat-lamp setup. While the tint does block a certain amount of heat, what they don’t tell you is that the heat reflects back into the glass. Because of the tint, the glass gets significantly hotter than before, and you can literally feel the heat radiating right onto your head. The installation quality was terrible. The tint was applied crooked, leaving large gaps. Regarding the removal of the old tint, they told me upfront that they couldn't guarantee the defroster lines wouldn't be damaged. I agreed to that. However, I later found out that with proper removal techniques and the right amount of heat, the lines could have been saved. Instead, they just ripped them off with the film, and to make matters worse, they didn't even clean up the mess. They left random orange strips of the broken defroster lines on the glass. I brought my brand new Tesla to Blackout Tinting to get XPEL XR Plus tint installed on the windshield, sunroof, and front windows, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Felipe (Jr) made the whole process incredibly smooth—he was super helpful with scheduling, provided upfront pricing, and took the time to clearly explain the benefits of the different product options. The installation by Alfredo was flawless. The attention to detail is obvious, and the car looks incredible. Blackout tinting has done three vehicles for me. From tint to ppf. All the services have come out very nice. They do quality work. We had a little mix up on my wife's vehicle and they fixed the issue and made it right. Felipe has good communication and knows his products. Will be back again. Thanks guys.
