My first experience in purchasing an RV. Tristan was patient and answered all our questions as he helped us narrow down our options to find the perfect fit for our lifestyle. While we weren’t quite ready to pull the trigger, the customer service was great and we will be back to begin our adventure here.

Needed a replacement refrigerator for my camper. Ryan and Dreem handled everything perfectly. Easy to order. Easy to pay. Easy to pick up. Great communication throughout the process. Friendly with excellent customer service.

We have dealt with other RV dealers but we have never been treated as well as we have at Blue Compass at Gainesville. Tristan and Ray were so helpful. Tristan answered our initial questions. Jenna and Ray helped me out with the online applications that were included in our purchase. Eric, Mandi, Carla and others whose names I don’t remember were very helpful as well. Shane did our demo (which, by the way, no other dealer has ever done for us) and showed us all the parts and switches and answered our questions about our specific travel trailer. If I could give them six stars, I would!

My wife and I had a great experience until we went into the office. We only wanted to look at a couple of RVs as we begin thinking about whether we want to buy one. We told the sales rep that up front, we are not interested in buying. He was fine with that and was very helpful showing us different models and giving us information about each one. When we'd seen enough he asked us to step inside to give us a couple of brochures and get some contact info. If that had been all, we would had been fine with it. However, the sales rep kept extending our stay, promising only a couple more minutes. My wife told him clearly more than once we were not interested in any more info and were ready to go. He insisted it would only be a minute more and then got his sales manager involved who started crunching numbers. At that point we got up to leave and the sales manager started giving us his sales pitch. No matter what we said, they were not taking no for an answer. If the sales rep had just respected us, we might have gone back someday, but not now.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Blue Compass RV was so disappointing that I feel obligated to share it. We purchased a Jayco travel trailer that had been sold and returned shortly afterward. The salesperson, Ray, represented it as essentially a new camper and specifically told us that the remaining manufacturer warranty would transfer and still cover the unit. Based on those representations, we purchased the camper along with an extended warranty. During the sales process, Ray walked through and wrote down several items that needed repair and assured us they would be fixed before the date of pickup. He stated that these items would be added to the buyer’s order. When we arrived to pick up the camper, none of the promised repairs had been completed. None were added to the required buyers order as per management. Ray was not in the day we arrived to complete the demo for purchase. When we raised our concerns, management’s response was essentially “tough.” They eventually addressed a few minor issues, but many concerns remained unresolved.
