Absolute disappointment and a complete lack of work quality from Bulletproof Coating. I took four Akebono calipers to get powder-coated in gloss white, fully rebuilt, and ceramic coated. He gave me a timeframe of two weeks but took over a month and a half to complete his “work.” He would not reply to text messages — I had to call the shop number just to get a response about when my parts would be ready. I even pulled up to the shop twice, only to find out my calipers still weren’t ready, despite him giving me multiple different deadlines. After all that time waiting, I expected my parts to be pristine and ready to go. Was I wrong. He coated the inside of the brake pad guide rails, coated the surface area where the brake line washer seals, and incorrectly installed the entire rebuild kit. After trying to contact him again via message, he ignored me completely. I took my business to another shop, and I found out I’m not the first — and won’t be the last — person who got screwed over by this place. Cool service if you care about things getting powder coated. What's even cooler is that they offered to pick up my wheels from my place at no extra charge. I'll admit that it was scary trusting my wheels go to a total stranger because it could have been gone if I was hypothetically dealing with the type of wrong person. After that, all I had to do was wait like 2 weeks to pick up my wheels from their garage. I was getting antsy after 1 week because that's what I was quoted, but after contacting them they explained to me that they were slightly behind schedule & that they promised it would get done by the end of the work week. The powder coating was almost perfect is all I can say. Like 9.7/10 in perfection, which is really damn good if you ask me. The missing 0.3 is from overdoing the powder spray or the surface being uneven in some spots. Could have been better but it's hard to get things better than this without spending well over the $400 I paid. Overall I am happy with how my wheels turned out. Highly recommended to all car and wheel enthusiasts out there! This is the go-to place. I’ve brought multiple sets of wheels here even when it’s almost two hours away. The quality is top notch and reasonably priced. They can mimic Volk Racing bronze and mag blue really well. They built my 3-piece Work Amkread wheels and even ceramic coated them to a nice glossy polish. Great place for a wheel hoarder! Bring your friends!

Decided to swap out the brake calipers on my Model 3 from a base to the performance variant. Once I secured all of the required parts, the search began to find a company to refinish the calipers as they were pretty banged up. A good friend pointed me to Bulletproof Coating. Definitely not a shop nearby but I am not opposed to making a trek to ensure things are done correctly and to near perfection. I spent countless hours looking at their IG account ensuring they were experienced in what I needed to be done. Luckily for me, they have tons of pictures of before and after of their work. Feeling confident in their work, I reached out for a quote and Bilal was super responsive via IG dm. He answered all of my questions and put me at ease as I personally don't know of anyone that had used their services. I thought his pricing was fair and am thrilled with how they came out. The entire process wasn't perfectly smooth but Bilal made things right. It was my bad luck that the Brembo rebuild kit he got wasn't quite right but Bilal's persistence paid off as he finally found the correct parts.

Top notch work, best shop in Cali. I’ve been bringing parts here for a few years and I’m always impressed with their work and versatility. The first time I went there they did my FMIC and oil cooler gloss white when other local shops wouldn’t. They also did my brembo calipers and matched the powder perfectly to the paint on my car! I thought they would get close to the same color but they literally matched it perfectly! Along with my 2 piece rotor top hats! And some engine bay parts, widebody kit hardware. I refer everyone I know to them and all of them are hyped with their parts!
