The place is called “coin operated” and yet there’s no coin operated for the self car wash. U have to tap or swipe your card so don’t come here if you think it’s gonna be quarters like normal. No this is Santa Monica apparently it’s 5 bucks a up from ur card only

Absolutely the worst car wash I've ever been to. I don't know what kind of car wash business this is but it's not going to last and I'm extremely surprised it's still open. First of all, I put a $10 bill and it completely robbed me. I had to walk over to the liquor store to ask for change because i didn't want to put another $10 bill and they didn't want to give me change but after insisting they finally did. That's beside the point, the point is i lost my $10 and I tried calling the number posted on the wall for customer service and they dont answer at all, so what's the point of putting a phone number if they're not going to answer. Besides the fact that this car wash stole from me, what a complete scam... $3 gives you 3 minutes so technically you get a minute per every dollar you insert. The car washes that i usually go to give me 4 minutes for $2 and if I put a $5 bill I get 12 minutes (now that's a car wash business, not this dumpster). Speaking of dumpster, this place is filthy and there's not even a sink to wash your hands or towels. Every car wash has one. Whoever the owner of this crappy place is should just close this place down. WORST CAR WASH EVER! People please, if you

Horrible place. Only 2 ports out of 4 are working. Huge waiting time to wash your car. Basically no soap, only water to rinse your car. The only advantage it's kinda cheap, but you are paying with your time. Wasted about 25 minutes there before I could even wash my car.

This place is the illest! Ever since I got an electric vehicle, I’ve been looking for an E-Car wash. Illa’s E-Car wash doesn’t disappoint. It’s $2 in quarters for 4 minutes of wash, which is just enough time to wash and rinse my car. I suggest bringing your own quarters. They do have change machines but they’re not always in service. Pro tip: there are change machines on both sides of the building, so if one is out of service, try the other side. Despite issues with the change machine, I’ve never had a problem with the car was bay being out of service. And Illa’s is not just for EVs. ICE cars are welcome too, but it can get a little crowded at times so please don’t clog or smog it up for us E-car drivers. There are plenty of other options in town for your gas guzzlers but this is the only E-car wash I’ve found 😝

2$ for wash & 1$ for vacuum for 4 minutes (each). Cannot pause timer once started. More than likely need to pay for two wash cycles if you don't have someone with you to help. Saw a few people walk away as the coin machine did not dispense quarters required to operate car wash Can get busy during weekends. No one to help you out, completely self operated. Bring your own towels to dry.
