About Jack's Self Serve Car Wash

Jack's Self Serve Car Wash carries a legacy that began in 1973, when it first opened its doors to the Huntington Beach community as EZ Car Wash. In 2014 it was renamed as U Wash Car Wash. The original vision was simple: make car washing quick, affordable, and accessible for everyone. Customers could soap, brush, rinse, and go—all in just a few minutes and for a few dollars. Jack's has once again been modernized to include additional features including foaming pre soak, polish and wax, and our well known spot free rinse. For your convenience we accept dollar coins, quarters, credit cards, and pay by phone. Clean, well maintained, well lighted, and kinda fun!

This place has really gone downhill. Been coming here for years with no issues and it's been great. However this is now the 3rd time I've come when one or more of the modes are messed up. Sometimes I cannot get wax, polish or tire cleaner no matter how long I wait. This time for each the foam brush, wax,foam polish and tire cleaner I had to wait for 60 seconds or so for it to pump through the system. I'm not talking about how it cleans the line from the previous setting, I'm saying nothing was coming out whatsoever. The owner really needs to clean the lines/pumps or whatever is needed. I'm not sure if I'll be back now.

My debit card was charged $12 instead of the standard $3 charge for a car wash. There was still time on the clock when I turned the control to off. Jack’s pocketed my $9.00. Be cautious using this car wash.
