Horrible experience. Paid $140 for a deep interior and exterior wash / vacuum... disappointed & furious NOTHING WAS REMOVED. NOT EVEN DUSTED! My dashboard still had dirt. My windshield has streaks marks & my driver side windows all have an oil substance residue 😡

Overpriced, low-quality effort these past few years. This car wash has gone downhill significantly. I just paid $30 for a wash and interior clean with scent and they didnt even vacuum the seats or anything for that matter. Half-assed wiping job inside as well. Outside looks great but a machine did that for them they just dried it off. Anyway this has lost my business for life most likely, Ill let my family and what friends I know around the area not to bother with this place, and I suggest the same to whomever reads this.

When my car was coming out of the tunnel, one of the workers turned my car prematurely causing the tire to rupture. The car was fine when I brought it and the cashier admitted that the tires were fine before entering the tunnel. The owner refused to reimburse me for the damages. On top of that my car was still dirty.

Absolutely horrible experience at Papa John Car Wash. I paid over $30 expecting at least a basic level of service, but when I came back to pick up my car, it was still disgusting inside. They didn’t vacuum, didn’t wipe anything down, and the seats and interior were clearly untouched. I politely asked to speak with the manager — she refused to even get up from her chair. I was visibly pregnant and had my young daughter with me, and yet I had to clean the car myself while she sat there watching and did nothing to help. It was beyond unprofessional and honestly heartbreaking. I asked for a refund, and she flat out denied me, telling me she didn’t care. I’ve never experienced such rudeness and lack of basic human decency at any business in my life. This place is overpriced, disrespectful, and a complete scam. Save your money and your sanity — do NOT go to this car wash. You’ve been warned.

This place just gained a loyal customer I just had one of the most pleasing experiences at Papa John's Hand Wash in Downey. Upon arriving I lined up like everyone else, when I got asked to move up, the guy behind me decided to cut me off, but to my surprise the owner Sam, was kind enough to approach me and remedy the situation. I didn't have to engage with the other driver at all. Sam and his crew were really helpful in answering my questions. I selected this location because it was recommended by my brother. We brought both trucks to get washed, and the service did not disappoint. The cashier was wonderful, and the men were just as attentive to detail on the trucks. Since this was my first time here, Sam was kind enough to guide where to pay. His willingness to assist, level of respect, and commitment to customers and customer service was up to par. I'm very appreciative of people taking a moment out of their day to make sure customers are taken care of.
