⭐️ 1 STAR — ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH LKQ IN GAINESVILLE! I AM EXTREMELY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED WITH LKQ PICK YOUR PART IN GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA! I purchased a transmission from the Daytona LKQ location, only to find out that the transmission was BAD. I did exactly what any customer should do — I kept my receipt and went to LKQ to get the problem resolved. Instead of standing behind the part they sold me, the Gainesville location REFUSED TO PROCESS MY RETURN! The older black woman with missing teeth and short blonde hair working at the front sales desk refused to help me and refused to honor my receipt. The level of customer service I received was absolutely unacceptable. I came there as a paying customer looking for help with a faulty part, and I left feeling completely disrespected and dismissed. Now I have to DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK TO DAYTONA because Gainesville wouldn't help me. Do you understand how ridiculous that is?! I'm being forced to spend MORE MONEY ON GAS and MORE OF MY TIME because LKQ couldn't simply help resolve an issue involving a transmission THEY SOLD ME! And that's not even the worst part. I like this place... as far as "junkyards" go. The people are pretty nice, they've got a system that works, and their website gives you an idea of what you'll find there in the yard. DISCLAIMER: If you're looking at pics of a vehicle on their website and the availability date passed by more than a week, chances are that most of the "good stuff" has been pulled already by the pro squad. Don't show up expecting to pull that radio or those leather seats you see pictured. And expect to get dirty; the place looks like they hauled in moondust and just dumped it back there.

I have been coming to this yard for a decade now. Before 2020, it was known as LKQ, since that time i believe they sold their pick-your-part business and some of those locations are now owned by a private equity group. Some downsides to that are parts prices increased drastically, price of entry increased, and organization of the yard declined (import, domestic, SUV, sedan. However there is an app they offer and its basically neccesary if you decide to go it your own. On the contrary though, if you need help locating a vehicle, ask the attendant its location and they will tell you. All the employees i have dealt with have been pleasant, even if the prices are a little high. They also have batteries up front and some engines. I come here mostly to recondition OEM parts that are discontinued or if i need a part same day. Also i noticed someone cares about the kitties which is a big plus for me. Hopefully they continue tp operate as theres no real competition for a PYP yard in NCFL.

black lady cashier is rude. Cashier 4948. Couldn’t understand what she was asking so she yelled. Then I said no to the warranty and she says “ok no coming back and arguing with us” in a rude tone. They also never pick up phone. Won’t be back. They were searching people’s bags like it’s a prison. One person went to their car to get something and they searched a bag/purse without their consent while they were gone. Also realized later that I was charged almost $4 for an old rusted cigarette lighter that was screwed onto a center console trim. Also Bought a rim and was charged ridiculous price for the bald tire attached to it. Wanted the other 3 rims but I’m paying full price for bald uneven tires with metal showing that will be removed.
