Avoid this place at all costs. This guy is a scam artist. I asked him to replace a converter in my travel trailer. He said it would cost $175 just to come out and check my existing converter. Seemed ridiculous, but I agreed. He came and told me what I already knew - that I needed a new converter. Then he said he'd order a new one for $350. He told me he only takes $40 profit on the part. After he left he sent me an invoice for $832. I looked up the part and ordered it for $130. Then I asked him to simply install the new converter that I ordered. He revised his invoice to $350 and said I owed that amount before he completed the work ($175 for service call and $175 for diagnostic work). The "service call" fee was supposed to include diagnostic. I refused and said I'd only pay after he completed the work. He said I owed him $350 for the work he already completed and an additional amount would be billed to me after he installed the part. I again refused so he threatened to come to home to "collect payment". I have a wife and kids and my wife was legitimately concerned at this point. She asked me to pay him to keep him away. So I did and got someone else to install the part. I asked him

I personally haven't yet purchased a buildout from this amazing company, but I plan to in the next year. My dream is to live and work full time in a beautiful camper van built out by this team. I'm just saving up while becoming debt free and am looking forward to working with them to have my dream come true.

Working with George was very easy. I needed my onboard generator replaced. He was able to get out to me as soon as I got the replacement generator. I told him the approved hours for this warranty work and told he could get it done in that time. His RV Tech Alberto was very knowledgeable and got the job done in a timely manner. We were camping in Chula Vista and getting ready to leave when our slide wouldn’t close. We tried everything but couldn’t get it to move. I called George, the owner of RV Pro, explained the situation, and he assured me someone would be there within an hour. To our surprise, Alberto (George’s son) arrived in just 20 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in no time. Also, since it was a simple repair, he only charged us $20 on top of the call-out fee. We are extremely grateful to George and Alberto for their quick response, professionalism, and honesty. Highly recommend their service

We've been using RV Pro for 20yrs whenever we are in the San Diego area for both routine maintenance ( genny etc) and repair (anything) services. They are an outstanding family run business, Jorge (many years ago) and now Alberto. Alberto responds immediately to messages, got us scheduled in quickly following a problem with our generator not working and got it diagnosed and fixed. They have updated their digital invoicing and he also provided an extremely detailed invoice that was very helpful with my insurance claim. He's extremely knowledgeable about everything, including electrical, mechanical, fuel lines , etc. In this case we were on a military base famcamp and due to current world events and heightened security on all bases, had to meet us at Pass n ID and submit his info for a background check to get a pass to do the work, extra time and effort on his part. Also, we are full timers and know our RV well, and Alberto takes the time to listen to our input as well as explain everything so we will be prepared if something happens when we're on the road or remote...
