Safelite has always done a great job for veterans ( through USAA ) but not this latest service specifically Brownsville management. Paid extra only to have wiper fall apart / off while driving and a broken cowling on my Tacoma during installation. Accidents happen but they have yet to make it right. Don’t use Safelite in Brownsville . That’s my 2 cents.

Went in with a Crack smaller than a dime trusted them to fix it. 2 months after repair windshield cracked nearly in half. I was told the day of the repair that if the cracked were to reopened or get bigger they would replace it on their end. When calling they give you some sad rundown of how suddenly it just an attempt to fix and dont promise anything now they are ready to charge me a $1000 plus for a new windshield. If they cant fix a small crack definitely dont trust them to replace a windshield. $180 for a job they didnt fix. At the time of the repair the crack was still visible. I should have just taken it anywhere else and had the job done right. I highly encourage anyone to look for another company to do the work safelite does not stand behind their work. Soon youll see response from them saying it just an attempt to fix the the Crack blah blah. They didnt say that at the time of the repair repair.

Technician was extremely helpful. He noticed my windshield wipers needed to be replaced. I happened to have new ones in my vehicle. He graciously offered to replace them.

Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Careless Service I would not recommend Safelite AutoGlass in Brownsville to anyone. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. After our window was broken, our repair appointment was rescheduled several times, twice because they received the wrong sized glass. When a technician finally came out to remove the broken glass he left a glove duct taped to the inside of our door’s window controller (inside of our door without me having knowledge of that.) To make matters worse, he broke our door handle during the process and decided to keep the runner channel (a crucial part that goes inside the door and holds the window in place) without notifying us. We had been waiting for over a month to have this resolved, and all the manager of the shop all she could say was, “I’m sorry I was out of town and just got back yesterday.” Even though we were getting the run around for a MONTH!!! FOUR WEEKS. No real solution. No accountability. Just poor communication and sloppy service. What took them four weeks another company was able to do in SIX DAYS. Eduardo did a fantastic job on installing my new window from the attempted auto theft from previous night, he also went above job on cleaning the broken glass damaged from the bad guy trying to steal my car. He also got me me in a head of scheduled appointment to where I didn't need to rent hotel for another night so I could return back to McAllen sooner to. Girls at the desk also were nice enough to assist me back to hotel where I could wait at room then they returned to pick me up. Good customer service appreciation
