Took my 2012 Cayenne to Freddy for a wireless CarPlay retrofit (ZZ2 IT3-PCM31A on the PCM 3.1). Clean install, factory look preserved, everything works perfectly. CarPlay connects automatically every time and the integration with the steering wheel controls and factory screen is seamless. Freddy was straightforward about pricing, finished the job quickly, and clearly knows the older Porsche systems well. The car finally feels modern without losing any of the original character. If you’re considering modernizing an older car or doing any kind of stereo or electronics work in Santa Monica, this is the shop. Highly recommend.

Freddie went above and beyond to take care of me and my new used car that needed Apple CarPlay and a rearview camera. He did the job well, professionally, and is a nice guy on top of it all. Would go back whenever I need anything more for the car and recommend him highly.

Santa Monica Car Sound is hands down the best place in LA. I took my new Tesla Model 3 to get the windows tinted because the heat and sun was just too much for me! I decided to come to Santa Monica Car Sound because it is the only authorized dealer of 3M products in Santa Monica (the best window tint film on the market and it came with lifetime warranty). I decided to go with the 3M ceramic tint for all the windows and also decided to add the windshield. It makes the car look great and I could immediately feel the heat reduction when I drove off. I highly recommend this place for window tinting. I'll probably be back soon to get a subwoofer.
