Very Disappointing and Concerning I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Sparky’s Car Wash in McKinney. About 3–4 months ago, I went there ONE time and paid approximately $18 to wash my truck. The service was terrible, and I never signed up for a monthly membership or authorized recurring charges. I no longer even have that truck, yet I recently received a bank alert showing a $35 charge from Sparky’s Car Wash. I was shocked because I have not been back to this location and did not authorize this charge. What concerns me the most is that my payment information appears to have remained connected to their system after a one-time purchase. I need an explanation as to why I was charged $35 months later when I never agreed to a monthly membership. I will be disputing this charge with my bank and requesting that Sparky’s Car Wash investigate how this charge was authorized. Customers should not have to worry about unexpected recurring charges after making a one-time purchase. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this business unless they can explain and resolve this situation.

Their website advertises a free full wash if you enter your cell phone number. I entered my number, then drove to the location about 30 minutes later. When I arrived, I still hadn’t received the text message with the offer. I showed the employee that I entered my number again, but I was told it could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to receive the text and that I would need to come back later. The $25 isn’t the issue—it’s the principle. If you’re going to advertise a free wash, you should honor the promotion when your system fails. Asking customers to make a second trip because of a technical issue is frustrating and, in my opinion, poor customer service. And for crying out loud, hire a landscaper to maintain the place.

My car was overdue for a wash, so I gave this place a try. The wash did a decent job getting rid of most of the dirt and dust, and the staff were friendly when I pulled in. The process was pretty smooth, although there were still a few spots that could have been cleaned a little better. The location is convenient, and I liked that everything moved along without much waiting. It's a solid option when you need a quick cleanup and don't feel like washing the car yourself.

Excellent service! Just came back from a long road trip with a windshield full of bugs, and they got it completely clean. The staff even washed my rubber mats for free. Highly recommend!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This place went above and beyond for me. My battery died at the vacuum station, and the manager, Vincent, didn’t hesitate to step in and help—even though it wasn’t part of their services. He tried to jump my car himself and even got other customers involved to help with a manual jump. After about an hour of trying, we finally got my car started. Vincent truly cared and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Because of that, they’ve gained a loyal customer for life. Thank you to everyone who helped that day—I’m incredibly grateful!
