For a $30 basic car wash (no interior done) you would expect exceptional service considering the loads of car washes down Convoy competing. I was seeking a hand car wash since I cannot personally wash my car due to being handicapped however I took my car here for some TLC but was not impressed at all. To start off with, lots of cheaper car washes offer a complimentary air freshener but this place sells them for a minimum of $4 each. Additionally you can watch the workers wash your car from the window inside and they are inconsistent in their soap coverage from vehicle to vehicle so be aware of their varying quality control. Lastly, the part that brought them down to one star for me is the fact that they scratched my car on the bumper somehow during the wash but did not apologize or own up to it when I pointed it out with clear frustration. I will not be returning

I don't usually write Yelp reviews, but I'm genuinely upset about this experience. I am so bummed that San Diego is turning into a scam city. I grew up in Southern California (Orange County) and have lived in San Diego for the past 9 years. It seems like everywhere I turn, customer service has gone downhill and businesses are looking for ways to charge you more without justification. Last Monday, July 13, 2026, I pulled into Convoy Hand Car Wash to get the Supreme Package, which is advertised for $34.99. As I got out of my truck, the attendant told me it would actually be $69.99 because I had bugs on the front grille. First, if you have extra fees, post them. Second, a 100% price increase should be justified. When I washed my truck myself later that week, removing the bugs added maybe a few extra minutes. There is no reasonable explanation for doubling the price over something that takes so little additional effort. I left without getting my truck washed. Convoy Hand Car Wash, you're failing your local customers. I won't ever be back unless you fix your service.

Best Carwash, very decent price. 100% hand Carwash, touch-less. The crew did amazing job and quick cleaning the car. They cleaned all the windows (windshield, roof, sides, and back) inside and out. Thank you Remon and the crew

I’m giving this place 2 stars because they charge $29.99 for a basic car wash, and it only includes washing the outside of the vehicle. Nothing else is included. In my opinion, paying almost $30 for just an exterior wash is very expensive and doesn’t make much sense. I was disappointed to see pricing this high without including basic cleaning services that are typically part of most car wash packages. At that price point, you would expect at least some basic interior cleaning or additional services. Unfortunately, the wash quality was also not the best, to many areas not event wiped or dried well which makes the pricing feel even more overpriced. Because of this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place and will be looking for other options. Thanks.

Today I paid $34.99 for the supreme wash and left feeling like I got scammed.… I went mid morning when it was not busy and they had plenty of people working the wash bay. vacuum was rushed obviously since they left visible dirt and debris on the all weather mats. The wash was no better unfortunately, leaving dirt on the rear window you’d think the staff would do a visual inspection of the vehicle before releasing it. I had been here before many months ago and recall they did a mediocre job then too. This business needs new management or something to improve dramatically. I won’t be coming back and recommend you take your business elsewhere.
