Scheduled tint appointment for 8:00 AM. The installer rescheduled to 10:30 AM due to personal obligations, which I accommodated. During the install, work was also paused due to equipment issues and the installer left to Home Depot. Delays happen, so that was not my main concern. The issue is the quality of work and damage caused during installation. This vehicle was purchased the day before and fully inspected beforehand. I work in the automotive industry and verified the condition prior to the appointment. After the tint was completed, I immediately noticed damage to the driver-side front window belt molding (outer rubber seal). The seal was cut and is now separating from the glass. This was not present prior to installation. When I pointed it out, the installer claimed it was pre-existing and then pulled on the damaged area, making it worse. There are clear cut marks consistent with a blade contacting the rubber during the tint process. The seal no longer sits correctly against the glass, which can lead to wind noise, water intrusion, and long-term issues.
