Honestly the experience was a negative 5 stars. I took my mom’s car there because she pays for the monthly membership. After this experience she’s definitely going to cancel. First we arrived as soon as they opened and they had the car for an hour and a half. During this hour we witnessed a white male with a rats tail hair cut 30-40 years old yelling and cussing out his coworkers. This man was extremely rude to me while attempting to collect the keys to the car. Every single car that came out of the car was in neutral while the employees got out of the car and continued to let it roll while nobody was in the drivers seat. Best part of all was after the horrible turn around time and terrible customer service. The car was still extremely dirty and the floor mats were absolutely soaking wet. 0/10 experience and cleaning. Absolutely way too overpriced regardless.

I never leave disappointed. As a mom of four having the company vacuum, wash my mats, and clean my car is a big help. The crew makes you feel appreciated and professional. The best part is I can take my cars how many times and better because they are open 7 days a week. Yes the name is 5 minutes but the crew takes their time to clean and do a good job. If you want a quick wash and don't care go to express wash. I have a membership for my vehicles with them. I definitely recommend them.

I was disappointed by my experience at this car wash. While the quality of the wash itself was acceptable, what stood out most was how the owners treated their employees. They spoke to them in a rude and disrespectful manner in front of customers, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. As a customer, I don’t believe it’s appropriate for employees to be treated that way publicly. Respectful leadership reflects positively on a business, and unfortunately, that was not the impression I left with. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a more positive and respectful work environment.

I’ve been going to 5 Minute Car Wash in Modesto for over 20 years. I was nearby and decided to run my wife’s car through for a quick wash. When it came out, the rear windshield wiper was hanging straight down and the weather stripping on the back gate was pulled loose. I asked for a manager. Duncan came out to take a look. We’ve owned this vehicle since new and keep it garaged and well-maintained. His response? “There’s nothing I can do.” He told me he’d fill out an incident report, but that it would go nowhere and that they weren’t at fault. Then he said, “I just work here,” as if that excused him from taking any responsibility. Duncan is not just an employee. He’s the grandson of the man who founded 5 Minute Car Wash. His father helps run it too. This is a family business, and their response to damaging a loyal customer’s car was to shrug it off and show zero accountability. I paid for the repairs out of pocket and I won’t be coming back. If you value your vehicle and expect even basic customer service, take it somewhere else. They don’t care about your car, and they certainly don’t care about you.

If you want a clean car with professional service come to Five Minute Car Wash. This place is a long time local favorite for complete car care and shine! You will encounter some of the most kind and hardest working employees (like Carlos) right here who 7 days a week, including holidays to clean your car and keep it tuned up and running just as beautiful as she shines! You can get the monthly pass to come each week and save your money anddddd keep your car in perfect condition. There is a really good restaurant inside and nice shop on the other side. There are clean restrooms and outside seating as well. Family owned and community loved for a reason. Come see for yourself
