Just recently visited and was amazingly surprised at the excellent detailing job they did! Being a new Tesla owner, and hearing from other Tesla owners to be careful going through car washes (paint job on these vehicles are not the best) my car looked beautiful and even more clean and detailed then from picking up brand new from the dealer! I had a chance to chat w the new owner and they have recently purchase new tunnel equipment and doing a complete overhaul and in the process of revitalizing this long standing carwash...I was completely impressed and you cant beat the value! $75 for a complete cleaning detail and car looks amazing...and no scratches or swirls either! I could not get over shiny and clean the wheels looked! A great place to take your vehicle especially if you have a Tesla! They have a customer waiting room however a really nice restaurant and brewery New World Tampa is directly next door...a good place to get a bite to eat while your car is being detailed...great job Tropical Car Wash and will be back!

First, I'm sad to see the older couple that owned this car wash has sold. Second, I was happy to support a new business. However, after paying $30 for just a wash. I'm not going back again. The folks before actually cleaned out your car and wiped it down. The individual today told me that passing a rag to take the dust off your console is considered detailing?! Since when? Mind you they dusted my daughters car down and her car looks clean. I guess since I have an SUV I didn't deserve to have it wiped down. I wasn't upset at first thinking maybe I'm out of the loop after he told me that. But when I got home and saw my daughters car nicely cleaned, I got angry. What a scam. I won't be supporting again.

I’m not pleased at all normally I’m the person to tip anybody to do anything for me but I could not tip such a sloppy Work what I paid for is not what I got. I had to come home and clean my own carpet and I also had to clean my own backseat out. I paid for the I believe premium wash and my car look like I got a basic Carwash now the outside of the car looks Good but I will never come back.

Fast, friendly, and awesome service! I pulled in for a quick wash, only to discover this is a full detailing place as well! First they hand wash the exterior, rims, and tires, then run your car through an automated wash, then hand dry your car. My 2007 Volvo V70 looked great, and my rims and tires never looked so good! Can't wait to come back and get the full details package, which IMO is a fantastic deal at about $35. Old school is the best, and these guys do a great job, quickly, with attention to detail. I'll be back!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The manager seemed annoyed that I requested my car be re vacuumed. I get it was a $20 wash. But why would I spend more when the basics had to be requested. 3 stars for the nice gentleman that touched up the managers half effort work. Photos are from AFTER I requested touch up. Still in the parking lot.
